If you were wondering about the skyrocketing price of Nahiri, the Harbinger, this little deck from Gerry Thompson is the reason why; there had been a few people theorising about the kor planeswalker in Modern, but it was Gerry who rode it to a 3-1 finish in the Modern part of MOCS, while Pete Ingram won the aforementioned SCG open with a very similar list.

The list is not much different from the Jeskai Twin lists we had already seen in Modern (Shaun McLaren won PT Born of the Gods with it). As we all know by now, Splinter Twin is no longer legal... and it seems that the new king is Nahiri, the Harbinger. While she doesn't provide an infinite combo kill, it does grant haste to Emrakul and the annihilator should be enough to kill anybody. Meanwhile, Nahiri is much more useful than a Splinter Twin when we are not comboing, acting as removal and card quality improver. Moreover, the ultimate can be reached within 2 turns and it is not easily burnt out because of her extremely high starting loyalty.

The rest of the deck are the usual suspects, including the full playset of Ancestral Vision (we strongly want to have one in our opening hand, and any extras can be cycled with Nahiri). The sideboard was very metagamed against the Abzan Company lists, which seem to be the deck to beat now (at least until last weekend - from now on maybe Nahiri will take that role).
